With the holiday, it doesn't really feel like a Tuesday today... but it IS!
1. How did you spend the 4th of July?
We went shopping and got some AMAZING deals on clothes for my daughter - over 70% off it all! So, now she has clothes for the next few sizes. Score.
After a nap for the little one, we ate dinner at my Grandma's house. That's always yummy :) Then we went to my in-law's house for fireworks. Best 4th of July yet!

2. What was a couple of your favorite things you ate for the 4th of July?
hmm.... I always love watermelon, but I finally got to taste some of my Mother-in law's addictive oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Seriously, they are addicting. We may or may not have stolen all the leftover cookies when we left...
3. Did you watch fireworks?
My in-law's neighbors really get into the 4th of July, so we all got together and they put on an awesome fireworks show - 2 hours worth! The star of the show was a homemade "robot" out of cardboard boxes & wood. It was FILLED with aerials, "bombs" and all different kinds of ground fireworks. Burned for almost an entire explosive-filled hour! Awesome.

4. What is your favorite firework?
This is the first year that aerials are legal (in most areas), so those are always fun to watch! The colors are so pretty! My daughter loved them, too (when we plugged her ears, anyway), and was saying "oh, wow!" the whole time. :)

5. How hot was it where you were for the 4th?
It was cloudy most of the day and sprinkled on & off. But it stayed in the 80s. It was perfect!!
