Vegetable fried rice is prepared with adding veggies like beans, green peas, and capsicum.This fried rice is easily prepared with available ingredients in home. Very simple to prepare and healthy to eat.
Ingredients
Basmathi Rice - 1 cup.
beans - 12
capsicum (green)- 1 tbsp
fresh green peas - one handful.
salt - for taste
cinnamon - 1 small piece.
cloves - 2.
oil - to fry.
water - 1+1/2 cup.
ghee - 1 spoon.
pepper powder - 1/2 tsp.(or crushed peppercorns)
curry masala powder or garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp. (optional)
Preparation.
- Soak Basmathi Rice in a water for 10 min. Add 1 spoon of ghee and cook the rice.
- When it is cooked spread it on plate and allow it to cool.so rice becomes seperate.
- Chop all the veggies.
Method
- Heat the oil add cinnamon, cloves saute it , add chopped veggies such as beans, saute for few minutes then add green peas and saute well .finally add capsicum saute for few minutes.(Add capsicum at the last becoz it will be cooked fast)
- veggies should maintain its crunchiness.add curry masala powder mix well.
- Add cooked rice to it, mix well.
- Finally add pepper powder(or crushed peppercorns ) and salt to taste.
- Mix well and serve hot.
Adding curry masala or garam masala,which gives additional flavour to rice which is optional.
