Delicious Poori chat

Masala poori is a famous food  in Most of the Indian chats.The aroma of the chat pulls you to eat. you can get poori's outside which is sold in many of the shops. Masala  is easy to prepare and it is prepared with white peas.

Masala Poori Ingredients


Small poori's - 50.
White peas - 3/4 cup.
garlic garlic - 11/2 spoon.
coriander powder - 1 tsp.
garam Masala - 1 tsp.
potato - 2 Medium
chilli Powder - 2 tsp.
salt - to taste.
cilantro - 2 tbsp.


Topping


Grated Carrot - 2 (Medium Size).
Onion - 1 (finely chopped).


Preparation

Soak the peas overnight or 7 to 8 hrs . Then boil the soaked  white peas and potatoes.[smash the potatoes and keep aside].


Method

  • Heat the oil, saute ginger, garlic paste till the raw smell goes.
  • Then add boiled peas with needed water.
  •  Add coriander powder, garam Masala, chilli powder,salt stir it well and allow it to boil for few minutes,then add smashed potatoes,stir well  and allow it to boil for 10 to 15 min.Finally add chopped cilantro.
  • Masala gets ready.[ This masala serves 35 to 40 poori's]
Serving Method
  • Get Small Poori's and make the hole at the centre of poori.
  • pour  the needed  Masala that we prepared already into the holes of  each poori.
  • upon that add topping ingredients such as grated carrot and onion on each poori and serve.

Note: You can mix this masala with pori and serve as bhel poori.
