I'm a huge fan of my house smelling amazing, especially if the scent is supposed to bring a little relaxation in this fast-paced world. I've recently had the opportunity to try out Scentsy's new ScenTrend for 2013, which is Violet Leaf. I was pleasantly surprised and am excited to share it with you!
In case you aren’t familiar with them already, Scentsy offers a variety of home and personal fragrance products including scented wickless candles and decorative ceramic warmers, which together provide a safer alternative to burning candles. Scentsy warmers use a low-watt light bulb that slowly melts the Scentsy candle bar, filling your home with one of more than 80 distinctive and long-lasting scents.
Extracted from the heart-shaped leaves of the violet plant, the Violet Leaf fragrance smells clean and fresh. Unlike the fragrance of a violet flower which is sweet and powdery, Violet Leaf exudes an organic, green fragrance with a subtle floral undertone.
It’s very easy to experiment with Violet Leaf. It smells great alone, or I've found it mixes well with the bars Scentsy provided me with: Posy Peach, Rio Beach, and Quiver. Other scents that will mix well are Route 66, Apple Press, Lotus Cove, or My Home.
One of my favorite combinations was the Violet Leaf with Rio Beach. Just a cube of each added to the Jane warmer and it smelled like a calm, tranquil day at the beach. Now that the busy holiday season is behind us, it was really nice to take a little time to myself to just kick back and relax.
The new Violet Leaf ScenTrend 2013 won't be available to purchase until February 1st, but Scentsy is offering one lucky reader a warmer of their choice, one bar of Violet Leaf and a bar of Posy Peach!
