SALT LAKE RESTAURANT REVIEW: EVA

It's official.
I had one of my favorite meals to date- actually, I may have uncovered one of the best restaurants in Salt Lake! (No, this is not a sponsored post.)
Knowing my mom can appreciate most non-cereal meals (sorry, husband), I invited her on a little date! Eva is only open for weekend brunch and dinner. We opted for brunch since I love me a good breakfast, and I was blown away!
^^Oh, and yes, that is me carrying 1, 2, 3, 4 to-go boxes. We ordered 5 items off the menu and took some home with us:)

^^An order of oh-so-homemade biscuits w/ honey butter and blueberry compote.
I'm fairly sure I could have bathed in that compote... if it wouldn't dye me purple.
I highly considered licking my plate...
Oh, I may have placed another order to-go to "share with my husband" (aka: to eat at home after offering him a small bite).

^^Stuffed french toast w/ honey-walnut cream cheese & more blueberry compote (eeeeee! So happy!) // Ricotta zeppole w/ marmalade. I vote more restaurants serve zeppole. Zeppole: it's my new favorite word.

As each plate arrived, they just kept getting better. And better. And better.

If you're on a hunt for a perfect date night locale, look no further. It's a great little hipster joint that made me feel like I was super un-cool... but cooler since I was eating there? Something like that. Anyway, three cheers for Eva!
