They turned out really nice but a little bit small for a one year old. I used regular wood glue instead of the glue the kits came with (I trusted it better) but some of the pieces are small enough that they could be choking hazards if they ever broke off.
So I'll be selling them at the Fat Dog Farms spring garden and craft sale coming up next month (which, by the way if you live in or near Portland, Oregeon, I would love for you to come to! Click the link to see the details.)
So far the collection includes:
A Battleship
A Tractor
A Catapult (with rubberband powered catapult that really works.)
A Truck (also rubberband powered so if you pull it backwards to wind up the wheels, it will drive forward when you let go)
An Airplane (with rubberband powered propeller)
Fun! If Kaypha were just a year or so older they would be perfect, so some other lucky family will be able to take them home instead. The kits came with paint (which I didn't use...obviously) so I'll probably sell the toys with the optional paint kit so kids can take them home and personalize them if they want to. Personalized truck races anyone?
