I love a good upcycling project. One thing in my house that could definitely use some upcycling is all the old t-shirts I have. Whether they just don't fit any more, or have been kept due to sentimental value: the truth is I have way more than I'm wearing and I need a better solution!

Homework has a great idea for using up part of your old t-shist stash - braided coasters! I think they are cute and country chic. If you got really motivated, I'm sure you could use the same technique to make a stylish rug as well!
