Now that my daughter's Halloween costume is all done, I wanted to make another Halloween shirt for her to wear when we go do fun fall activities and Halloween parties where she doesn't need to wear a costume. This shirt was incredibly easy to put together, and it only took a few minutes.
Supplies:
Orange T-Shirt (I found mine on clearance for $2)
Black Tulip Fashion Glitter Shimmer Transfer Sheets
Cutting Machine (I used my Cricut Mini) or use a stencil and scissors
Iron
Using my Cricut, I cut out a cute pumpkin face from a mix of Cricut Lite Trick or Treat Cartridge and Cricut Pumpkin Carving Seasonal Cartridge in Cricut Craft Room and sized it to fit the front of the shirt.
If you don't have a cutter, no problem! You can use any jack o'lantern stencil or hand draw a pumpkin face and cut the Shimmer Sheet with scissors or Xacto blade. This would be a fun way to have your kids help make their own custom pumpkin shirt!
Arrange the Shimmer Transfer Sheet cutout on the shirt. When everything is just how you like it, lay a thin cloth over top and press an iron on the area for about 40 seconds (no steam). Make sure that all the edges are stuck down. If any pop up, just re-iron the area until it's set.
Now you have the easiest custom Halloween shirt to show off at any Halloween or fall activity! Fun for families, or just let the kids show off a little Halloween spirit. This shirt would also make an easy start to a homemade jack o'lantern costume!
