This halwa gives a very unique taste .It is prepared with roasted channa dal. It tastes good.i hope u enjoy this halwa.
Roasted chana dal - 1 cup.
raw rice - 1/4 cup.
coconut - 1/4 cup.
jaggery - 3/4 cup.
ghee - 2 tbsp.
Preparation
Soak the raw rice for 3 to 4 hrs.
Method
- Grind the soaked raw rice,roasted chana dal,coconut into a fine paste.
- Heat the ghee add the ground paste.
- Add the jaggery,stir continuously.
- Cook it until it starts leaving the sides of kadai.[till not sticky to mouth].
- put the halwa on the plate. level it as shown in the figure.
- when it cools down cut into square slabs using a knife [as shown in a figure], then serve.
