Drink Your Greens with Tasty Green Lemonade

green lemonade recipe with spinach or kale

In the pacific northwest, I am blessed to be able to garden year round. While I had a few crops not fare so well this year, my kale on the other hand is going crazy. I have about 10 plants, each 4-5 feet tall full of beautiful, leafy goodness. This may be my all time favorite way to consume kale. With almost 700% of the rda for vitamin K, 300% vitamin C and 180% Vitamin A, it's hard to go wrong.

Ingredients*

  • 3 small or 2 large lemons
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 1/3 green bell pepper
  • 5 kale leaves OR 2 cups baby spinach
