Make Honey Pops for Cough or Sore Throat

Now that kids are heading back to school, families know they need to prepare for the inevitable sniffles, coughs and sore throats. Honey is a time-honored way to treat both sore throats and coughing. One study even showed that in children over age 2, honey before bedtime was just as effective as a common over-the-counter cough suppressant ingredient (source). These honey pops by Carolyn over at the blog Homework are a great way to have soothing honey ready - especially while on the go. Use a lollipop to stir some honey into your tea or to help sooth an unhappy throat tickle.
