Ragi Dosa

         


Ragi is especially valuable as it contains the amino acid methionine, which is lacking in the number of  diets .In southern parts of India, pediatricians recommend finger-millet-based food for infants of six months and above because of its high nutritional content, especially Iron and calcium.Home made Ragi malt happens to be one of the most popular infant food even to this day.so adding Ragi to our daily food gives lots of energy from infants to older.
Ingredients

Ragi Flour - 2 cup.
Urad dal - 1/2 cup.
salt - required (11/2 spoon)

Preparation

  Soak Urad dal  1 to 11/2 hours.

Method
  •  Grind Urad dal.
  • Mix it with Ragi flour and salt.
  • Allow it ferment for 7 to 8 hours or overnight.
  • The consistency of batter should be like normal dosa.
  • Start pouring dosa like normal dosa.
  • Ragi dosa serves well with onion chutney.
