                        Ingredients

Onion - 1 .tomato - 1.Black chick peas - 1/2 cupSalt - for taste.oil - to fry.mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp  To grindsmall Onion - 5.garlic - 2ginger - 1 inch.coconut - 3 tbsp.fennel seeds - 1/4 tspgaram masala - 1/2 tsp.chilli powder - 3/4 tsp. grind everything including  1 tbsp of cooked black chick peas(Which gives thickness to gravy).
   PreparationSoak black chick peas overnight and pressure cook for 7 to 8 whistles.MethodHeat the oil, add mustard seeds when it splutters add onion and tomatoes saute well till it becomes mushy. Add ground paste ,stir well for 5 to 10 min till raw smell goes .Now add cooked black chick peas with needed water and salt allow it to boil for few min till it becomes a thick gravy.garnish with cilantro.It goes very with kolaputtu,chapati and dosa.
